Charitable donations play a vital role in supporting healthcare organizations, ensuring they have the necessary resources to provide quality care to their communities.

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center's Auxiliary, a dedicated group of volunteers, has consistently demonstrated their commitment to giving back.

Over the past three years, their generous donations have amounted to over $27,000, benefiting various departments and services within the medical center.

In December 2021, the Cabinet Peaks Medical Center's Auxiliary made a substantial donation of $8,776.60 toward the purchase of an ultrasound bed. This state-of-the-art equipment is instrumental in diagnostic imaging, providing healthcare professionals with enhanced imaging capabilities to aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

The auxiliary's contribution ensures that patients receive the highest level of care and diagnostic accuracy, promoting positive health outcomes.

Recognizing the importance of creating a comforting and welcoming environment for patients and their families, the auxiliary donated $400 toward the establishment of a coffee bar for the surgery waiting room in September 2022.

This thoughtful addition to the medical center provides a space where individuals can relax, socialize and enjoy a warm beverage. The coffee bar not only fosters a sense of community but also offers a respite for patients and their loved ones during their time at the medical center.

The auxiliary's commitment to enhancing patient care extended to the Emergency Department and Cabinet Peaks Orthopedic Clinic. In May 2023, they generously donated $7,100 toward the purchase of

pressure monitoring equipment. By ensuring that the medical center has the latest monitoring technology, the Auxiliary directly contributes to the safety and well-being of patients in both the ED and Orthopedics.

The Cabinet Peaks Medical Center's Auxiliary stands as a shining example of the power of volunteerism and generosity. Through their selfless efforts, they have made substantial contributions to the medical center, enhancing patient care and supporting the well-being of the community.

Their donations toward the ultrasound bed, coffee bar and pressure monitoring equipment demonstrate a holistic approach to healthcare, encompassing both clinical excellence and compassionate support. The auxiliary's unwavering dedication to giving back serves as an inspiration to all, encouraging us to contribute in whatever way we can to create a healthier and more compassionate world.

Giving is not just about giving a donation, it’s about making a difference and the CPMC Auxiliary is all about making a difference. The mission of the auxiliary is to support the hospital with their time, talent, the purchase of equipment and is carried out with amazing spirit and generosity by this group of hard-working ladies.
