This has been an unusual year for our family of grandkids. We did not have any high school or college graduates for the first time in several years. However, my friends did. And it was fun for me to get acquainted with the high school seniors of the church I attend.
The church Prayer Team I am a part of prayed for them this year as they attended retreats, had youth group events, and volunteered. Some of them were on the worship team or helped teach Sunday School; some helped in the nursery; and some mowed lawns and did acts of kindness helping people with home tasks. They hosted some all-church events for all the rest of us to attend.
